Your First Visit

During your visit, a hygienist will start by reviewing your medical and dental history. We will also ask you for a list of your medications. This is important to ensure we do not prescribe a medication that might interact with something you currently take.

Then, we will conduct a detailed examination of your oral structures. We will also measure your periodontal pockets, which are important for inspecting the health of your roots.

There is also a chance that we might take some X-rays. They are essential for giving us a glimpse of what is happening underneath the surface. Finally, we will finish your appointment with a comprehensive examination. That way, we can identify any cavities or gum issues that must be addressed. If we find something wrong, we will develop a comprehensive treatment plan to take care of your oral health.
